We are a locally-owned day spa located in beautiful Vancouver, and we are seeking a talented esthetician to join our team. As our resident esthetics expert, you will provide exceptional services to our clients, including nails, waxing, facials, and laser esthetics. You have the power to impress and amaze our clients with your skills, and we're counting on you to retain them through your expert knowledge and friendly, positive attitude. Target Employment Groups: Newcomers, Vulnerable Youth, Visible Minorities, Job Description (Tasks) Body care/ treatments Permanent hair removal Provide general information to customers on beauty products Advise on beauty products suited to customers colouring and skin type Laser hair removal Eyebrow tinting Nail art technics Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions Perform cashiering duties Schedule and confirm appointments Provide product demonstrations Skin care Eyebrow threading Eyelash extensions Provide customer service Qualification Requirements At least college graduate or with diploma from a program of 1-2 years or with certificates in permanent cosmetics, tattooing, makeup, facial treatment, nail technic 2-3 years equivalent work experience Effecient interpersonal skills Good oral communication. Must be able to speak and understand English. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative A positive and team-oriented attitude Must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods Must be client focus, dependable and organized Schedule: Weekdays (Weekend if needed)Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week Salary: $17- $19/hour (To be negotiated)Expected Start Date: As soon as possible.
