The City of Medicine Hat's Finance Department is on the lookout for a dynamic Financial Planning Analyst to become a vital member of our expert team. If you're passionate about finance and systems development, then this is your opportunity to shine! About the Role: As a Financial Planning Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the financial future of the City of Medicine Hat. Your role will encompass an array of responsibilities, including leading the development and coordination of corporate business plans, operating and capital budgets, corporate planning and forecasting, and interim actual-to-budget variance reporting activities. In addition, you'll provide forecasting, economic analysis, metrics development and reporting, financial modelling, and policy and best practice development. You also act as the enterprise system process lead for the planner module and assists in developing, organizing, maintaining and improving the budgeting, forecasting and reporting functions. Your work will directly impact our city's financial success and sustainability.
