The Role: They are seeking a skilled Senior Woodland Manager to lead their dynamic team. Youll drive growth and success in the Forestry division by leading projects and managing operations. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver comprehensive forestry services, exceeding client expectations. Manage esteemed lowland forestry estates. Plan, price, and execute forestry contracts, securing permissions. Prepare management plans, obtain grant aid, oversee daily woodland management. Collaborate on new opportunities like agroforestry and carbon initiatives. Identify prospects for woodland owners, such as Continuous Cover Forestry CCF. Foster employee development, providing guidance and nurturing potential. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Woodland Manager or in a similar role. Demonstrate forestry management expertise with a track record of success. Chartered or working towards chartered status. Display a commitment to planet protection and enhancement. Secure permissions, manage contracts, and adhere to regulations. Exhibit a passion for continuous learning and industry trends.
