CMM Programmer MCOSMOS or Virtual DMIS Precision Engineering / Aerospace Industry Nuneaton - CV13 area Salary up to £40k per annum Day Shifts - Times TBD.CMM Programmer MCOSMOS or Virtual DMIS Precision Engineering / Aerospace Industry Nuneaton - CV13 area Salary up to £40k per annum Day Shifts - Times TBD 33 Days Holiday, Medical and Life Assurance Are you a skilled Quality Technician with CMM Programming experience Do you have Programming experience on either MCOSMOS or Virtual DMIS Would you like to work for a family-owned business that is working with new revolutionary designs and technologies which will be at the forefront of their sectors now and into the future Our client is a leading component designer, manufacturer, and supplier, specialising in the machining, assembly, and testing of several product ranges for the aerospace industry. They are currently looking for a skilled Engineer with CMM Programming experience on MCOSMOS or Virtual DMIS, to join them as a Quality Technician. Commutable from Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Coalville, Measham and Tamworth. The Role of CMM Programmer: - Compose CMM programs using MCOSMOS/ Virtual DMIS - Develop evaluate and improve CMM Inspection methods - Advising on the design of fixtures for the CMM Inspection Methods that have been identified by the Quality Technical Team/Production Engineering Department - Identify tooling requirements for CMM Inspection - Complete and generate FAIR Packs and PPAPs as required - Ensure all documentation is available for new products - Review the Inspection methods required by the customer drawing and ensure that the customer is aware of any exceptions or design changes that may be required to enable Inspection of the component before quotation. - Develop evaluate and improve CMM Inspection methods - Deliver technical training to production operators to develop their skills and capabilities to increase teamwork and flexibility - Support New Product Introduction NPI - Participate.
