Position Overview Working as part of a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of the Program Director, the incumbent: Performs a variety of clerical tasks and acts as a communication link for the unit. Performs a variety of tasks for the care and comfort of patients as well as routine tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the area. Experience 1-2 years recent relevant experience as a Unit Clerk required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete high school education (Manitoba Standards) required. Successful completion of Unit Clerk certificate from a recognized course required. Successful completion of Health Care Aide certificate from a recognized course required. Consideration will be given to candidates who: Have successfully completed the Anatomy/Medical Terminology and Office Practice course or other recognized related combined courses. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Not Applicable Physical Requirements All shift rotations as required. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
