Plasman , Windsor Plant 3 Manufacturing is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as: Materials Scheduler - 20 Month Contract The Scheduler is to coordinate production activities throughout the plant in order to maintain customer requirements at Plasman. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Receiving customer releases through EDI and/or fax. Liaison and customer contact for material related issues Analyzing these releases in order to create an effective production schedule. Communicating production schedules to Purchasing, Maintenance and Plant Supervisors. Determining and maintaining finished goods inventory levels. Communication daily releases to Shipping Personnel to ensure orders are prepared for shipment. With direction from Scheduling & Logistics Supervisor will expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Provides Shipping Coordinators with appropriate information in order to make timely and accurate shipments to the customer Responsible to prepare and administer 5-day assembly schedule Complete any other duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION /OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a secondary school.
