An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join this world leader in the design and development of high performance computer product, based in Colchester. Due to continued growth, my Colchester based client are seeking a Process Engineer. The responsibilities for a Process Engineer : Define manufacturing processes Review and approve PCB layouts Approve components for assembly compatibility Solder Stencils design and purchase Calculation of manufacturing process timings The ideal Colchester based Process Engineer will have experience of some of the following: Design for manufacturing Solder stencil Design Equipment evaluation, purchase and commissioning Machine programming all equipment on surface mount electronics assembly line Packaging design As a Process Engineer, you will be part of a small team with a high level of responsibility for your own designs, so you will need to have the ability to work to demanding time scales, and be able to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the projects.
