Senior Legal Counsel, Med Tech UK & Ireland Location: Leeds, England Full-time Position overview: Johnson & Johnson's Med Tech group produces a broad range of innovative products and solutions in the fields of orthopedics, surgical oncology, general surgery, neurosurgery & neurological disease, cardiovascular disease, vision and aesthetics. As one of the most comprehensive Med Tech businesses, Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is best suited to serve evolving customer needs, train more surgeons to improve standards of care, and treat more patients globally as access expands. This role will provide legal support to the J&J Med Tech United Kingdom & Ireland business in all legal matters, both strategic and reactive. It will be based at the company's offices in Leeds, England. Tasks & Responsibilities: Provide strategic and operational day to day support for the Sales & Marketing organization of the Johnson & Johnson Med Tech business. Draft and review agreements for the provision of goods and services to customers under existing and new business models (working together where necessary with outside counsel), and other general contractual matters, including the creation of templates. Support the development of innovative partnerships with strategic customers. Draft and negotiate contracts to support the implementation of innovative new contracting models (e. g. value-based healthcare frameworks, and capital equipment placement and financing). Advise on competition law questions, specifically in relation to pricing policy and commercial transactions, and engagement with Trade Associations, in collaboration with internal competition law experts as needed. Advise on public procurement law questions, including supporting the business and bids & tenders team in responding to public tenders.
