ABOUT THE ROLE: As the Senior Manager, Finance – Key Planning you will support the Vice President in all financial areas regarding forecasting/budgeting, analytics, and reporting for the Canadian finance team! You will have a full scope of ownership over Canada’s consolidated P&L, leading all key financial processes across the company. You will be responsible for partnering with Canadian and US partners and showcasing findings and recommendations to key partners and Sephora Canada Leadership! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Supervise Sephora Canada's P&L, running risks, re-forecasting, and leading long-term strategic planning Lead company-wide financial processes, collaborating with partners to build a plan for Canadian business expectations Prepare presentations for various audiences, incorporating financial and non-financial content, and analyze variances with robust commentary Evaluate and support Canada’s internal controls, partnering with internal and external audit teams Responsible for mentoring, developing, and leading one direct report Have a strong understanding of technically complex areas of the financial statements (including foreign exchange, gross margin, and transfer pricing) to provide recommendations for improvement Partner with key collaborators cross-functionally and cross-border, to tackle problems, ensure successful financial performance, challenge the status quo, and appropriately communicate risks Acquire and maintain a detailed understanding of the.
