Fugro are now seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join the Land Site Characterisation team based from the Wallingford, Oxfordshire office, although up to approximately 60-70 of the time you will be working on client sites nationally within the UK. Working as a Project Geotechnical Engineer, you will assist with the commercial and technical management of routine onshore and nearshore ground investigations and preparing data deliverables and data reports. Fugro are now seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join the Land Site Characterisation team based from the Wallingford, Oxfordshire office, although up to approximately 60-70 of the time you will be working on client sites nationally within the UK. Working as a Project Geotechnical Engineer, you will assist with the commercial and technical management of routine onshore and nearshore ground investigations and preparing data deliverables and data reports. Whilst on site, you may be responsible for the control of field resources, core and sample logging, in situ testing or assisting the site agent and project management team. As a company representative on site, you will also be responsible for client liaison and maintaining communication with project and reporting managers to report site progress and planning. Who you’ll be working with: Reporting to the Engineering and Reporting Manager and supervised by Principle and/or Senior Engineers, you will work closely with both Principle and Senior Engineers as well as Project Managers to ensure successful completion of site activities and to maintain clear communication on site and with clients. .
