This is a large, non-union, state of the art facility employing over 150 full-time employees and producing consumer products such as Kleenex brand facial tissue and Scott brand bathroom tissue. As a member of our High-Performance Work Team the Electrical Engineering Co-op student will gain experience in Electrical safe work practices, industrial control systems including state of the art programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces(HMI); and engineering documentation including computer aided drawing (CAD). The student will also be exposed to industrial communication systems, data analyzing software, variable speed motor controllers, closed loop controllers, and power distribution systems; and develop an understanding of electrical engineering practices necessary to support high speed automated manufacturing process. Job Accountabilities: Carry out job responsibilities in a safe manner Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected. Maintain engineering document at using CAD and other tools Assist in modifications to PLC programs and HMI applications to improve the safety and/or operation. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
