Your Job Dark Vision, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is looking for a curious and motivated researcher/scientist to join our R&D team and participate in the development of our upcoming ultrasound based products. The right candidate is a creative individual who is passionate about solving real-world problems, and has a strong theoretical background in ultrasound, especially in its use for industrial applications. The position will focus on scientific research, including theoretical validation, simulation, and experimentation of different ultrasound modes and methodologies. This position will provide you with an opportunity to explore and design innovative imaging ideas and concepts from ideation all the way into development, verification, and validation in real-world. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers who work on state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging solutions. The ideal candidate is both scientific minded and pragmatic. Someone who has the desire to work and grow in a fast-paced technology environment. Our Team Based in our HQ in beautiful North Vancouver, BC, the Research & Innovation team helps with early-stage ideation, research, experimentation, development, verification, and proof of concept. Once these phases are completed, the results are passed to our engineering team for proper development and integration into our existing products and solutions. What You Will Do Use ultrasound imaging solutions to solve real-world industrial problems. Conduct scientific research, including theoretical validation, simulation, and experimentation of different ultrasound imaging modes and methodologies. Explore and design innovative imaging ideas and concepts from ideation to development to validation. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
