Are you an Consultant Psychiatrist seeking a new challenge Do you have previous experience supporting Adults with complex mental health difficulties Are you an Consultant Psychiatrist seeking a new challenge Do you have previous experience supporting Adults with complex mental health difficulties Service Care Solutions are working with our established client to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist on a LOCUM basis. Our client are a leading provider of Mental Health support within the UK. The service is a 28 bedded hospital consisting of 3 wards within an Acute setting. The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis with 37.5 hours available. Part-time applications will also be considered. Job Purpose: Consultant Psychiatrist Pay Rate: £110.00 LTD per hour + £250 SCS Welcome Bonus Location: Wolverhampton, Midlands Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00Contract: 37.5 hours per week Part-time applications will be considered Key Responsibilities: To manage, appraise and give professional supervision to junior medical staff as agreed between consultant colleagues and the medical director and in accordance with the services personnel policies and procedures. To undertake the administrative duties associated with the care of patients. To record clinical activity accurately and comprehensively and submit this promptly to the Information Department. To participate in service and business planning activity for the locality and, as appropriate, for the whole mental health service. To attend and participate in the academic programme of the Trust, including lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD programme. To maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council, Mental Health Act Section 122 approval, and to abide by professional codes of conduct.
