The chosen candidate will play a key role in the design and monitoring of Fire Safety Engineering aspects for building and site development projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects spanning sectors such as Transport, Leisure, Educational, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Storage, and Residential, catering to both public and private clients. The ideal candidate should be: Enthusiastic, hardworking, and adaptable. Ready to take on responsibilities and at ease collaborating within a team. Proficient in fire safety design, Irish legislation, and construction technology. A strong communicator in English, both written and verbal. Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Possess excellent presentation and client-facing skills. Key responsibilities include: Developing fire safety strategies for various project types from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Technical report writing. Preparation and review of design drawings. Conducting fire risk backssments and surveys for existing buildings. Carrying out site inspections as required under BC(A)R 2014. Reviewing proposals and material submittals from Contractors and Design Teams. Guiding and mentoring junior Engineers and team members. Building a network of colleagues and clients. Experience and Education Requirements: 3-5 years of postgraduate experience in a consultancy or similar environment. Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (level 8) in Fire Safety Engineering or equivalent.
