Compass Medical Provider, LLC is looking for candidates to provide Behavioral Health Management (BHM) support services to the Idaho Army National Guard. This is a part-time OR full-time position. Experience with National Guard or Military Soldiers preferred. Compass Medical Provider is dedicated to taking care of soldiers and proud to supply qualified personnel. Responsibilities : - Performs initial and follow-up Soldier interviews, provides recommendations for care, and reviews submitted documentation to ensure quality of care and status of deployability. - Coordinates with case management, engage leadership and the Deputy State Surgeons Office by providing ongoing and consistent patient recommendations and medical administrative services. - Behavioral Health Management requires the expertise to facilitate, through review of documentation, military regulations, and other authorized data the rendering of advice. - Medical documentation of individual Soldiers will be utilized in the production of Narrative Summaries (NARSUMs), profiling, referrals, reports, investigations, medical board packets, and waiver requests. - Draft narrative summaries, review medical information, advise personnel on duty restrictions, recommend profiling restrictions, waiver recommendations, and advise the Deputy State Surgeon (DSS) on deployment ability. -The Behavioral Health Management must work with Case Management to collect medical documentation, input administrative notes into various systems, and assist with administrative duties -The BHM shall assist on scheduled Medical Readiness events as needed on weekends, as necessary. Skills : Minimum of 2 yrs experience with knowledge of military culture Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Excel, Access and familiar with the use of MODS and MEDCHART systems. Strong communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task. Basis knowledge of standard office procedures and the ability to interpret general direction.
