Position Summary : This person will be primarily responsible for all facets of the Treatment Plant and subsequent systems, including but not limited to, water quality sampling, facility operation and maintenance, interaction with town representatives and the public. Hiring Requirements/Preferences: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years progressive experience supervising treatment plant State of New Hampshire Grade II full status Wastewater Operators license. Full status is preferred, or the ability to obtain full status within 12 months is required. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Multiple years of progressing experience with SCADA systems, PLC control, and telemetry systems. Strong computer skills are required. Must be available to work Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., occasional scheduled weekend coverage, with on-call duties weeknights and weekends, 40 hours per week. Must possess a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
