The Worthington is located at 900 Worthington Circle, Fort Collins, Co and is for seniors who are able to live on their own but desire the security and conveniences of community living. We're privately owned and operated...we're not a corporation. It's like working with family! We are accepting applications for a Chef able to work: Full Time Monday - Friday and some Weekends Varies - based on schedule 3 opportunities for raises your first year of employment. Chef Coordinates menus and directs the training of cooks and other kitchen workers engaged in preparing and cooking foods to ensure an efficient and satisfactory food service. Prepares meals, cooks and serves food while maintaining a high standard of quality and appearance Manages cost containment, inventory, and ordering of food and supplies. Maintains kitchen and food safety standards according to County and State and Federal regulations. Responsible for overall kitchen and dining room sanitation and cleanliness. Hires, trains, supervises and orients cooks and counsels when necessary. Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Successful completion of a formal culinary training program. Experience in cooking in a medium to high volume restaurant. Compensation: Starting wage between $22.00/hour - $26.00/hour (depending on experience), along with 3 opportunities for raises your 1st year.
