A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SUMMER CAMP MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR This full-time position at our nonprofit works during the day from June 26th - August 11th . As our Summer Camp Mental Health Counselor, you're the MVP of the evaluation team, providing top-notch counseling services for our campers. You're a pro at conducting school histories with parents or guardians, completing social service assessments, and developing treatment plans. You develop and carry out behavior management programs, play therapy, and counseling services. Not only are you a rockstar with the campers, but you also build strong relationships with families and caregivers. As the social and mental health expert on the team, you educate your colleagues about specific psychosocial issues and facilitate educational or parent groups. And let's not forget, you always uphold professional ethics and follow policies and procedures while continually developing your skills.
