Our stores offer a full selection of wholesome foods and wellness products that give our customers lots of choices for the health of their families, the community, and the world. Assistant Store Manager - Full Time in Santa Monica and Culver City You must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings until 10:30 p.m. and weekends. Purpose: To ensure store security, prompt, friendly customer service, physical store maintenance, and smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure smooth operation of the store during business hours Provide support for front-line staff throughout the store during business hours Cover for missing employees when possible Ensure excellent customer service Maintain security of store during shifts Ensure the store is securely opened and closed following procedures Ensure the safety of staff and customers Monitor all staff and provide guidance and direction as required Coordinate staff breaks Facilitate customer, staff, and vendor transactions Ensure the store is clean and ordering during shifts Ensure spills and other hazardous conditions are resolved Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns Provide feedback to department managers Requirements: Supervisory experience Ability to motivate and inspire employees Excellent communication and customer service skills Thorough understanding of store operating procedures and policies Flexibility in availability, including evening and weekend hours Regular, predictable attendance Willingness and ability to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job Benefits of working with Co-opportunity Market & Deli include: Medical/Life/ Vision/Dental benefits Shift meal allowance Paid time off 20% Employee Discount 401K/Profit Sharing Job Posted by ApplicantPro
