The brand-new Courtyard by Marriott, Bettendorf (opening soon!!), is seeking an organized, dynamic and energetic person for our Bistro restaurant and event space. The Food & Beverage supervisor will lead the department with a high level of excellence in customer service, quality of product, and will promote teamwork among our staff. The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant supervisory experience, strong leadership qualities, effective communication skills, an innovative enthusiasm for excellence, and the ability to get the job done with efficiency and organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Works closely with the F&B Manager to be familiar with all departmental operations. Works as a team in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service. Communicates with dining room staff and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Responsible for maintaining the highest standard of guest service while monitoring food quality and overall appearance of the dining room. Visits with guests, observing and monitoring guests for additional needs and guest satisfaction. Listens to customer complaints, concerns and comments, building good customer relations all the while building a positive and inviting atmosphere. Other duties as assigned.
