Senior Cost Analyst Location: Huntsville, AL DESCRIPTION: Canvas Inc. is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst to support our PEO Missiles and Space customer in Huntsville, AL. This individual will plan, coordinate, and conduct independent cost analysis for customer products. Individual will ensure technical appropriateness, soundness, and accuracy of cost and budget. Must have ACE-IT experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing the calculation and forecasting of the future costs of systems, projects/programs, resources, to support independent studies, funding decisions, and various management reviews (e.g., milestone reviews, budget reviews). Creating and maintaining lifecycle cost estimates in ACE-IT as required by DASA-CE. Performing the planning and development of controls and provide expert technical analyses, budgetary advice, and guidance regarding the development and implementation of resource allocations and plans in order to defend budget activities. Conducting analysis and provide recommendations by applying expert knowledge of a broad range of cost analysis strategies to include mathematics, statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, computer modeling, regression analysis, and economic analysis. Coordinating with PEO on Program Office Estimates, APBs, and other Milestone review documentation. Creating documents and briefing charts that communicate current status and forecast on program with regard to cost. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have and be able to maintain a SECRET clearance ACE-IT experience Experience with cost estimates and accompanying Congressional budget justification language used for P and R forms i.e., smart charts used to brief congress. Capable of leading and executing analytical task, utilizing both analytical techniques, and processes for complex developmental and operational programs. Capable of leading the development and utilization of analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities. Extensive Knowledge, skills, and abilities in the cost and financial analysis field Advanced MS Excel skills REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship. Candidate will be subject to random drug testing throughout the lifetime of employment.
