The Village Family Service Center in North Dakota is accepting applications for a Social Worker with our Adoption program with a bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Social Work. A sign on bonus is available. Our Adoption workers are part of a team that provides support to ensure the highest quality services are delivered to children and families from diverse populations. We strive to maintain/enhance our culture of non-judgmental attitudes focusing on our mission and core values to help guide us in our work and to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion within our organization and the communities we serve. Working at The Village as an Adoption worker you will be required to travel and meet clients in their homes, assess individuals/couples' strengths and appropriateness for parenting, and provide options counseling to those experiencing an untimely pregnancy. It is also necessary to have an accepting non-judgmental attitude, strong assessment skills and an ability to listen and communicate effectively, as well as maintain excellent case management standards.
