The YMCA of Northern Colorado is hiring full-time, year-round lifeguards! As a full-time lifeguard, you will serve as an advocate for the safety and wellbeing of our members and guests. You will ensure that the Y's pools are friendly, welcoming environments for all to play, learn and build confidence in the water. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safety of participants while they are in or near the pool, general maintenance and cleanliness of the pool, chemical testing and general problem solving. In addition, the fulltime guard assists in the training of new aquatics staff. Position is full time up to 40 hours per week. Requirements/Qualifications: • Current ARC/YMCA Lifeguard, First Aid, AED, Emergency Oxygen and CPR-PR Certifications • Minimum of 18 years of age • Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful • Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hire • ARC Lifeguard Instructor Preferred Salary range is $16.50-18.00/hr based on experience.
