To learn more about our culture and to join our team, visit us at https://www.kaplanco.com/about/ Work Hours: 7:00am - 3:45pm Monday-Friday About The Position: The incumbent in this position supports business operations by ensuring proper receiving procedures are followed for all UPS, FedEx and other Kaplan orders to assure accuracy of inventory and provides assistance to showroom customers with order pick up. What You Will Do: Ensure correct procedures are followed for all UPS, FedEx and other Kaplan orders to assure accuracy of inventory. Check, count, weigh, and cube a wide variety of incoming products against purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages and damages. Inform purchasing department of all shortages, damages and errors in shipment. Prepare product to place into stock using the RF unit. Responsible for accurately entering all purchase orders into the computer and maintain work area. Assist in unloading trucks by hand or utilizing pallet jack or forklift, as determined by product. Occasional loading of trucks as required. Pull customer orders for catalog Showroom. Assist customers with loading orders as needed. Physical Demands: Requires the ability to lift boxes that range in weight of up to 75 lbs. Lifting/Pushing/Pulling over 75 lbs. Lifting up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
