Adds chemicals to the plating tanks. 2. Checks temperatures, chemical levels and feed rates as directed by the parameter sheet. 3. Cleans and repacks all filters as required. (where applicable) 4. Monitors auxiliary equipment for the plating line, including deionizers, evaporators, regeneration units, etc. (where applicable) 5. Regenerates related systems as required by schedule or demand. (where applicable) 6. Replenishes brightener feed vessels and chemical containers that automatically feed the plating process, as required. (where applicable) 7. Checks bars periodically out of all tanks for missing or loose parts and rakes tanks for parts. 8. Performs duties according to shutdown and start-up sheets. 9. Performs all checks, up-keep or tank maintenance, rakes tanks for parts, and monitors functions of any and all supporting equipment for the plating line. 10. Maintains housekeeping in all plating line areas. 11. Alerts the supervisor on scrap and tank related problems immediately. 12. Maintains records of all parameter sheets recorded by technicians. 13. Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor. Qualifications 1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. a. Physically capable of performing all duties and functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs., involved in the job. College chemistry or equivalent preferred. 2. The ability to meet the specifications listed below must be demonstrated on the job. a. Good knowledge of the plating operation. b.
