We have an immediate need for Weekend Maintenance Personnel on 1st shift, Friday - Sunday from 6:00am-6:00pm. Runs electrical wiring per the National Electric Code (less than high voltage) and performs minor repairs at the board level. 2. Plans layouts and wires electrical for updates on machinery and follows projects through to completion. Updates minor changes on electrical prints. 3. Troubleshoots machinery with or without the use of control prints. (where applicable) 5. Recognizes safety hazards on equipment and initiates corrective actions. 7. Follows lockout procedures and safety rules in the plant. 8. Handles and labels hazardous and/or non-hazardous chemical containers properly. 9. Calibrates machine controllers. (where applicable) 10. Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment. buildings, and machines as assigned and applicable. 11. Operates cutting torch and welder as assigned. 12. Performs other tasks assigned by designated Supervisor. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. a. Physically capable of performing all duties and functions involved in the job. Reason accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. b. High school education or equivalent preferred. c. Advanced technical training or two to four years industrial maintenance experience preferred. d. Color recognition for wiring purposes. 2. The ability to meet the specifications listed below must be demonstrated on the job. a. Knowledge of all plant operations. b. Understanding of basic electrical. c. Basic knowledge of computers in association with troubleshooting devices. d. Must have the ability to perform duties of lower maintenance classifications. e.
