As individuals we are great, and together we are even better so come help us make a difference as we are currently seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our Environmental team in Nashville, Tennessee. The salary range for this position is $88k to $141k. What is the job? Environment staff supervision (technicians and professionals), training, mentoring, and coaching of employees. Meeting objectives in safety, quality, human resources, finances, and risk management Staffing projects with appropriately trained and certified personnel, maximizing staff utilization and project profitability. Serves as a Community Leader, partnering with other office leaders to give S&ME visibility in the community and professional organizations. Coordinates with their project managers and leaders/project managers in other services regarding potential opportunities and supports them with resources needed to win and complete projects. Qualifications? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology or Environmental related science or related field. 10+ years of experience conducting and managing environmental projects. TN Professional Engineer license preferred. Demonstrated successful team leadership and management with a good understanding of safety policies/procedures, quality, business metrics, human resources policies/procedures, risk management concepts. Excellent communication skills with clients, staff, and regulatory personnel. Effective technical, team leadership, project management, client management and business development. Why work at S&ME?
