Diventures, the nation's fastest growing swim and scuba center with locations across four states, is seeking a swim lesson greeter and lifeguard. We are looking for someone that has a upbeat personality and enjoys working with people. You will also need to be safety conscious and attentive. You will not be responsible for both of these roles at the same time, but will work both positions throughout the week. Key Tasks & Responsibilities The key role of the Swim Lesson Greeter position is to provide exceptional customer service. This position will also focus on improving efficiency and customer retention through effective organization and communication. You'll have plenty of direct contact with parents and their children, so great people skills are a must. As a greeter, we expect to see a willingness to learn or to develop as a professional. The key role of the Lifeguard position is to ensure the safety of all swimmers in the pool. You must be attentive and focused on safety at all times. Lifeguard certification is preferred, but is not required. Responsibilities might also include: Register and enroll new students and families via the Jackrabbit point-of-sale system Create Sign In/Out Sheet Give tours of Diventures Sanitizing between swim lessons Lifeguarding during Swim Lessons and other times as needed Handle an assortment of additional tasks and various other duties, such as cutting stickers and coloring books for kids, monitoring and replenishing bathroom supplies, and cleaning as needed Key Personality Attributes You must have a positive and energetic attitude and be able to work well with children. You'll also need great people skills overall since you'll also have plenty of interaction with parents. Ideal applicants would also have: Flexibility of scheduling A desire to be part of a fun and energetic team A willingness to learn or to develop as a professional Safety conscious and ability to communicate in a positive way Skills & Experiences Minimum age is 16 Good communication skills Previous experience is a customer service or hospitality role is preferred Lifeguard Certification is preferred
