Description:

Assist in the support of the the Compliance Department which is responsible for monitoring the compliance for a diverse portfolio of both senior and multi-family properties that include multiple funding sources from Affordable Housing Programs such as Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Section 8, Rural Development, 811, Project Based Vouchers, CDBG Funds, and HOME funds. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain technical understanding of compliance requirements for various affordable housing programs Review & Approve resident files prior to certification deadline Maintain & Review state housing agency monitoring compliance manuals and state specific compliance requirements Assist in state and investor file audits and conduct necessary research to prepare response Assist in agency and investor reporting Assist in creation and implementation of training materials on additional compliance software program Assist in revisions to company and department forms Assist with reviewing compliance reports and communicating and correcting errors Compose and proof materials Demonstrate and follow the Oakbrook Values: Ethical, Professional, Collaborative, Family Attend trainings to develop an understanding of compliance requirements for various affordable housing programs All other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Computer software applications knowledge and Microsoft suite skills Prior office experience is required
