We are looking to hire a hourly, part-time instructor for the Nursing Assistant program at Bridgerland Technical College. If you are interested in teaching high school students about Health CARE, this position is for you! With this position, you will be interacting with students interested in becoming CNAs by teaching them healthcare concepts, demonstrating skills, and having them learn and pass off the skills to you. Thus, preparing them to take the state certification knowledge and skills exams. You will need to be a Registered Nurse (RN) or an LPN with an active license and two years of long-term care experience as a nurse. Acute Medical/Surgical care can also be accepted. If you think you have what it takes to do this job, then the next step is to fill out our online application. We should warn you though, if you are selected to move forward in the hiring process, you will be asked to prepare a short 5-7 min. teaching presentation applicable for CNA students, demonstrating your teaching style.
