A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DENTAL ASSISTANT As an entry-level Dental Assistant, you provide invaluable support for our practice and help us care for our patients' lovely smiles. You spend your days working alongside a fantastic team, learning as you work and developing the skills you need to develop a long-term dentistry career. Whether you're interacting with patients, doctors, or other coworkers, you treat everyone with kindness and respect. You assist our dentists as they treat our patients, promptly completing whatever tasks you're assigned. As you gain experience, you learn how to anticipate treatment necessities and help optimize our doctors' efficiency. When assigned, you perform lab work and update patient files accordingly. At the end of each appointment, you speak with our patients about maintaining their dental hygiene while at home and offer oral health tips. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DENTAL ASSISTANT X-ray certification Ability to travel between our North Hills and Gibsonia offices Related experience would be preferred, but we are open to hiring recent graduates .
