Swank Construction Company is looking for a Laborer to join our Building Trades Division. Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials. Perform laborer tasks, which include, flat sawing, core drilling, wall/wire sawing, and general concrete demolition. Caring for company equipment/machines/tools. Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner. Ability to use or learn how to use different hand and power tools. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Laborer position. Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors. Workdays & Shifts: Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends) Willingness to travel for extended periods of time. Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required. Valid driver's license - Required. Up-To-Date DOT Medical Card - Required. Experience & Knowledge: Prior experience as a laborer or other relevant experience preferred. Other Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background check including MVR. Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
