A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR ACCOUNTANT The ideal candidate will have a major impact on the success of the company and offers unlimited career growth with earnings to match. The Senior Accountant reports to the owner and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting of Slate's bookkeeping clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Record client transactional entries Balance sheet account reconciliations including cash, A/R, fixed assets, A/P, credit cards loans payable, accrued expenses Month end close procedures Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to provide exceptional client service Assumes additional responsibilities as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree in accounting or finance 2+ years of accounting experience Entrepreneurial attitude Dedication to excellence and high standards Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to become proficient in other software applications as needed Excellent oral and written communication skills.
