Snowmaking Foreman

Description:
The snowmaking foreman is required to lead, train and direct a snowmaking shift. The foreman will ensure that the team executes job functions safely, and at the highest possible quality. They will be able to both perform and provide training of all snowmaking related tasks. Also responsible for scheduling, payroll and other administrative tasks. Essential Job Functions Unconditionally use and ensure that team members use, the appropriate personal protective equipment required for the various types of work to be done. Have a working knowledge of, and the ability to operate the pump stations, valve stations, compressors and control room in a safe and efficient manner. Perform general, and high-level maintenance and housekeeping of buildings, equipment, snow guns and hoses. Train team members how to start up, set up and shut down snowmaking equipment. Be able to operate, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of snowmobiles, UTV's and other equipment. Be willing to help in other departments during peak periods. This may include lift operations, parking, food and beverage, etc. Perform general maintenance and pre-operations checks on equipment. Received daily work instruction and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Train team members in the adjustment, operation, and troubleshooting of snow guns so they are producing the most cost effective and highest quality snow possible.
