What You'd be Doing Every day might look a little different, but you can count on promoting safety and overseeing daily cylinder inspection and filling processes. You will also help ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers while providing support and assistance to the Distribution Manager, the Distribution Dispatcher, and the Specialty Gas Manager. You would also act as a back up int eh absence of other managers. Being a leader would be your biggest role, training and developing all employees assigned to the Fill Plant on safety and standard operating procedures. You would also conduct weekly safety meetings and monitor employees to ensure work is safely performed. Our Ideal Candidate Has a high school diploma or GED Must have at least 5 years experience in Fill Plant operations or working in a similar environment Must possess the capability to manage others Must maintain a good driving record exhibited by state MVR reports In addition to these essentials, you would also need to be able to lift and move equipment/cylinders throughout the department, generally weighing up to 100 pounds. Safety is also a huge part of this role, so we need someone who is going to make safety the number one priority and lead by example in this regard. At CK, we want everyone to go home at the end of the day the same way that they came in, or even better. We also need someone who is going to be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on several projects simultaneously. Work Schedule This role works a standard shift, Monday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. We value work/life balance here at CK Supply, so our goal is to limit overtime as much as possible .
