Professional Lifeguards at Midwest Pool Management have awesome opportunities and tons of fun in the Pleasant Hill area! Whether you're guarding a quiet neighborhood pool or one of our major water parks, MPM has something for everyone! Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of our patrons, enforcing policies, rules and regulations as well as: Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations Enforce policies, rules and regulations Participate in regular in-service training Keeping pool facilities clean and appealing Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information Ensure the safety of patrons Issuing lifejackets to patrons Basic Qualifications Must be at least 15 years old to work Lifeguards work May-September Part-Time including early mornings, days, nights, weekends and holidays; however, we do have several year-found indoor facilities Strong observational skills to proactively identify patron needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed Strong verbal communication skills (able to positively engage with patrons, team members and management) Other Requirements and Preferred Qualifications Ability to swim Lifeguard training is available and must be successfully completed
