We're an award-winning IT solutions provider to the Federal government, seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester to join our team in anticipation of an upcoming opportunity. US Citizenship and the ability to pass and maintain a Federal government (Public Trust) clearance is required for this position. While primarily remote, this role may require occasional on-site work. The selected candidate must live within commuting distance of Washington, D.C. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live Creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts Performing functional testing of the system REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment Experience with databases, SQL, and Web-based applications Experience with iterative systems development life-cycle and documentation Minimum 2 years performing unit, integration, system, and regression software testing in an Agile Scrum environment Experience with automated testing scripts for Regression testing using Selenium Ability to produce comprehensive test plans that can be handed over to an Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) team to run Ability to facilitate customer user acceptance testing Familiar with Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) Clear communication, writing, and presentation skills Demonstrates an ability to learn and contribute quickly to project requirements Demonstrates an ability to prioritize and organize efforts in a fast-paced environment Independent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, creativity and a customer service-orientated personality PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience with relevant CMMI Level 2 & 3 processes, such as Requirements Development and Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Technical Solution) EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is a job requirement.
