Description: -Order and expedite shipment of parts by monitoring movement of parts through the ordering system -Interface with customers, employees, and vendor reps, to resolve problems -Provide support to field and counter personnel in parts order intake and resolution -Assist warehouse by processing returns and monitoring inventory -Function as backup for after hours branch orders -Process parts orders for PSSRs and regular customers -Monitor COD's, branch transfers and customer/branch returns -Interface with Finance Department to resolve issues with billing, taxes, purchase orders and returns -Process special claims dealing with defective parts -Arrange delivery of parts and supplies to and from customers locations -Communicate stocking requirements, issues, and backorders to inventory control -Communicate with vendors such as CAT, etc. Requirements: -Comprehensive understanding of the practices, programs, policies and procedures of the company and CAT parts delivery process -Thorough knowledge of Industrial, Oil & Gas application of products to customer's needs -Considerable analytical abilities in interpreting pricing, scheduling, and delivery requirements -Excellent decision making and interpersonal skills and the ability to perform effectively in an environment of various levels of complexity, priorities and time schedule deadlines -Solid working skills in computer applications, including Lotus Notes, DBS and Microsoft Office or similar software -Motivated self starter with high level of maturity and the ability to work independently Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
