Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced Project Scheduler who is advanced in their knowledge and use of Microsoft Project who will be responsible for drafting schedules for staff, communicate timelines to all departments, and maintain current project schedule across numerous projects. This position will report directly to the VPO and work in partnership with the Project Teams Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop initial project schedules Estimate labor needs based on project timelines Interact with executive and project teams to coordinate project timelines and resource allocation Interact with project team to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules and identification of variances from original plan. Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around. Proactively track standard lead times from vendors in an ever changing market Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas. Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate solutions to keep projects on schedule. Follow up on job progress weekly and maintain accurate and complete schedules Work with Superintendents and Project Managers to develop weekly look head schedules Assist project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress. Combining all active project schedules with resources and proactively collaborate with VPO on how to minimize bottlenecks. Requirements and Qualifications While there is no specific requirement for a College degree in construction management in scheduling, equivalent experience will be a requirement in its absense 5 years of construction experience in Custom Residential and Commercial construction Strong time management and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Project Job Posted by ApplicantPro
