Swank Construction Company, LLC is looking for a General Laborer for our Milling Division. Female/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Position Summary: The primary purpose of the Laborer position is to perform a wide variety of general labor tasks to reach project goals and as directed by the position's supervisor. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials. Perform clean up tasks after Rota-Mill. Jackhammer in areas where Rota-Mill is unable to run and cover inlets. Caring for company equipment/machines/tools. Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure Ability to use or learn how to use different hand and power Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Laborer Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by Workdays & Shifts: · Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends) · Willingness to travel for extended periods of time. Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required. · Valid driver's license - Required. Experience & Knowledge: Prior experience as a laborer or other relevant experience preferred. Other Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background check, including Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
