YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire a Lifeguard! ABOUT YMCA OF BUCKS AND HUNTERDON COUNTIES YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is a charitable, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all . If you are interested in contributing to the largest Youth focused non-profit in the country, please read on! Lifeguard Salary : $16 - 18.50 per hour Lifeguard Hours : Monday - Friday 5am - 9am, Saturday - Sunday 7am - 6pm. Applicant need not work all hours/shifts. Lifeguard Responsibilities : Ensuring the safety and surveillance of all pool participants Functioning as coach and mentor to junior lifeguards Enforcing pool and facility rules Understanding and applying organizational safety procedures for the pool and aquatic areas Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the pool deck, including skimming and brushing Administering aquatics center chemical tests and responding appropriately Lifeguard Qualifications : Are at least 18 years old Have a strong swimming background Have 2+ years of experience as a lifeguard Have an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Lifeguard Benefits: Supplemental insurance benefits (Voluntary Accident/Injury, Hospital, and Cancer coverage via Aflac) 12% employer contribution to your YMCA pension plan YMCA Membership 30% off of Childcare and Camps Employee Assistance Program Employee Wellness Program Exceptional growth potential for your role and career Salary: $16 - 18.50 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 9am, Saturday - Sunday 7am - 6pm.
