We promote an enjoyable working environment with a family like culture. We are actively seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join our successful team! This position provides many opportunities for growth and reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. We provide medical, dental, vision and 401(k) benefits as well as company paid vacation, sick, and holiday time.Essential Functions:1.Provide data entry for multiple types of warehouse transactions.2.Create receipts for purchases with vendors.3.Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to associates for processing.4.Assist in counting of physical inventory to ensure accuracy of transactions to maintain correct counts.5.May assist in facilities maintenance duties.6.Prepare parcels for mailing.7.Help organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.8.Wear proper safety equipment.9.Demonstrate problem solving skills.Qualifications:- Must be self-motivated and take initiative- Ability to work towards a goal with others- Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbal- Outstanding attention to detail- Basic Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word (30+ WPM)- Must have a valid Driver License with clean record. This position will require driving between San Marcos and Sorrento Valley location.Work EnvironmentThis position works in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers, and forklifts.Preferred Education and ExperienceWarehouse experience a plus.Enjoy working for a stable company with a 40 year history, A+ BBB rating, seven-time Angie's List Super Service Award Winner, Six-Time Winner and Finalist of the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics!!
