Hello, Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, ID is actively looking to hire a full-time Medical Records/Infection Control Nurse. Must be an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Job Description: Gather and prepare patient charts/documents Ensure that the medical records are organized, accurate and complete Create digital copies of paperwork File patient paperwork quickly and accurately Safeguard patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards Process records for admitting and discharging patients Conduct Infection Prevention/Control training regarding Quarantining and Isolating residents who test positive for COVID 19 Cleaning Resident rooms to prevent the spread of COVID 19 Provide Pre and Post Test to demonstrate comprehension Consultant is required to provide an attestation statement of completion Help prevent healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs) by isolating sources of infections and limiting their spread Develop Outbreak Action Plans Benefits: Complete medical/dental/vision insurance benefits Employer-matching 401k retirement program Up to 16 days' paid time off per year Company paid Life Insurance Requirements: Possess a current Idaho LPN license in good standing One year of medical records experience in a long-term care facility or similar medical setting preferred Extraordinary attention-to-detail Strong Microsoft Office experience Excellent communication skills, expert at working cooperatively as a member of team Demonstrable working knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations
