Overall Scope: The Gold's Gym Social Media Coordinator role is a critical role in our ever-growing Digital Fitness landscape. This role is primarily responsible for managing social media and digital advertisement, digital marketing campaigns, social content, in-club visual marketing and promotions, SEO presence, On-Demand mobile app, but also supports other marketing initiatives. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will be keenly focused on social media advertisement, content creation and strategy, building advertising and content campaign calendars, working with the Marketing Department to grow digital engagement amongst previous, current, and prospective Gold's Gym members, and offering additional support where needed. Responsibilities: • Oversee and plan organic and paid ad campaigns on social platforms with a focus on SEO, keyword targeting, and member acquisition practices. • Maintain and report on budget tracking and dashboard reports for digital advertising campaigns. • Assist the Marketing Department with creating engaging text, image and video content. • Assist the Marketing Department, as needed, at events, location openings and other member experiences. • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to execute content creation for DC Metro On-Demand, Gold's Studio and all Gold's Gym DC Metro social media platforms. • Work with the Marketing Department to create integrated and cost-effective digital strategies and campaigns. Qualifications & Requirements: • Passion for utilizing and creating social media content, digital advertising, and other marketing tactics to acquire and support Gold's Gym members. • 3+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing and/or Digital Advertising • Marketing or Digital Advertising related degree • Advertising management across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google/YouTube, Snapchat • High level knowledge of social media, content creation and optimization across social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google/YouTube, Snapchat • High level knowledge of photography, videography and graphic design to complete campaign creation (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other graphic/digital design software) • High level knowledge of marketing and social media analytics and reporting • Familiarity with content management and CRM systems • Firm grasp of emerging digital advertising tools • Certifications/experience in relevant digital platforms Additional Qualities: • Excellent project and time management skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent attention to detail • Knowledge and passion for fitness industry trends • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work methods • Ability to meet deadlines, work as part of a team, and balance multiple projects • Ability to make decisions at a high level to achieve results • Flexibility to take on additional task volume, as needed
