What you will be doing: Conducts basic and complex transactions in a professional, courteous manner. Engages members in dialogue to obtain information regarding their financial needs and recommends the appropriate product or service based on those needs. Meets established individual and group sales goals by using various sales techniques. Responds to member inquiries regarding the operation of accounts, access to services, and assists members in making the most effective usage of service offerings. Executes loan applications and disbursements. Makes outbound calls to members regarding outstanding loan approvals, various credit union products and services, and their experience with the credit union. Participates in available credit union self-development education programs and required compliance courses through self-study, online learning, and the credit union's training department. Represents the credit union at various community events and assists the manager with business development duties when necessary. What you will bring: Minimum of six months experience working as a MSR I, or related position in a financial institution Knowledge of general banking regulations and credit union policies and procedures Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook and using the web Enthusiastic communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual a plus A passion for providing excellent customer service Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise judgement Basic knowledge and experience with sales techniques Available to travel to other branches and off-site company events when required Physical Requirements: The physical demands of the position require being able to stand for up to eight (8) hours per day, lift items weighing an estimated 5-10lbs or more and perform repetitive hand movements on a keyboard.
