The Project/Maintenance Engineer will be assigned specific facilities, typically within Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions and Ergon Terminaling business units, to provide technical support and help facility personnel troubleshoot and assess maintenance issues to identify and execute a solution. The person selected will have project management responsibilities for planned and unplanned projects consisting of scope development, detailed design, budget development, contractor selection, and project execution oversight and will plan and execute scheduled maintenance projects. A technical degree from an ABET accredited university or college is required. Mechanical or Civil Engineering is preferred. Project management and/or general plant/industrial experience and experience with boilers, piping systems, and/or rotating equipment are preferred. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and knowledge of API-650-653 and ASME codes is preferred. The person selected must possess strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills. The person chosen will also be required to travel to his or her assigned facility and project locations as required to perform his or her duties.
