Overview: As a Performance Manager with APCO, you will generate revenue growth by utilizing a consultative selling approach in the retention of current APCO accounts. Our Performance Managers nurture existing business relationships to achieve budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business and securing contracts, and maintaining healthy relationships. Responsibilities: Dealership Performance (80%): Operate in Finance and Insurance and Sales Department Automotive retail role effectively Effectively demonstrate the APCO F&I process EasyCare Performance Opportunity Analysis (EasyCare Way)- compiling, preparing, delivering and following through on agreed upon action plan Complete knowledge and adherence to dealership and industry compliance, and observance of unique dealership guidelines Establish and prepare dealership performance development plans Present proposed action plans to executive managers and business owners Prepare and conduct One/One "in dealership" training Conduct competency testing with dealership personnel MotorTrend implementation and training Dealership performance monitoring Skilled in developing, delivering and monitoring performance based pay plans Business owner relationship building skills Knowledge and effectiveness with all APCO product benefits and assets New Opportunities (20%): Effectively secure referrals and network Skills related to EasyCare New Opportunities: "Start w/Why", Discovery, Awareness and Spontaneous Response Capabilities Document required activity in SalesForce Requirements: Prior experience or are currently working in automotive sales management or automotive finance management Prior experience or are currently working in an automotive vendor setting Prior experience or are currently working in automotive sales and finance training Prior experience or are currently working in automotive advertising or banking Bachelor's degree preferred Self-starter and self-motivated Competitive Persuasive communication style Eagerness to continually learn and improve Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen. This is an in-person sales position, requiring regular driving and appearance in varying professional settings, such as such as automotive dealerships.
