Position Title : Finished Products Operator Pay Rate: $33.37 per hour plus shift premium Category/Shift : Hourly Full-Time Permanent Physical Location : International Paper Grande Prairie Pulp Mill 53024A Resources Road County of Grande Prairie No.1 Directions: Travel 12 kms south of Grande Prairie on Resources Road. The Job You Will Perform: The Finished Products Operator is responsible for safely forming a pulp sheet, cutting, preparing, packaging and loading the product on either railcars or trucks to ship the product to our customers. You will operate a high speed cutter, bale line, presses, stacker, clamp trucks, a locomotive, run lab tests, perform basic equipment care and potentially run a pulp machine. This is a structure, team based position that works in a learning environment to meet production goals. Team members must be improvement focused, willing to work toward unit goals and find achieving results rewarding. The successful candidate will thrive in a team environment and enjoy routine expectations. The Grande Prairie mill is a 1100+ tonne per day Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft pulp mill, employees approximately 390 mill employees in a 24-hour operation How we take care of our employees: You are provided high quality, structured training and are highly compensated including double time over time.
