Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, AZ is currently looking for an innovative, visionary to lead, plan, develop, implement, manage and evaluate college-wide human resources' functions and activities to ensure consistent application of district policies and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations. Serve as an internal consultant to provide advice and assistance; serve as a liaison between district and college on HR related matters, serve as a contributing member of the district-wide HR Leadership council and contribute to the development of system-wide initiatives. Apply accepted human resources techniques, use knowledge of a variety of personnel practices and problems, and exercise professional judgment. Work with a diverse population of administrators, faculty, staff, students and the public. Provide direct supervision to Human Resources staff as they design, develop and implement strategies and programs consistent with the District and College vision and mission.Requirements:Provides innovative leadership and guidance in managing human resources programs and services related to employee relations, leaves, benefits, ADA; provides recommendations and information on human resources issues, policies, and procedures, including employee benefits and employee relations; analyzes complex, technical and confidential issues, providing solutions, and taking appropriate action by applying suitable policies, procedures, and resources. Manages the employee evaluation (expectations and goals) process; college new hire orientation process; grievances and complaints. May conduct workplace investigations; coaches managers and employees; conducts training. Provides guidance and support to the HR lead over recruitment, payroll, and employee development. Serves as an internal consultant to Executive Leadership, department chairs, directors, deans and managers in facilitating the interpretation of human resources policies and procedures that address strategic priorities of the organization. Manages the college human resources office supervising employees including prioritizing and assigning work and managing the department budget; serves as advisor to college leadership and employees to ensure compliance with applicable district policies, procedures, and state and federal laws and regulations related to all aspects of human resources; serves as liaison between district and college on HR related matters, serves as contributing member of district-wide HR Directors leadership council, participates on HR district initiatives, and contributes to development of system-wide initiatives; plans and coordinates employee development programs and activities including new employee orientation, district required training, supervisory training, employee events, and development activities related to college initiatives. Evaluates human resource processing operations and activities and recommends improvements; plans and coordinates implementation of electronic human resource system functionality including training for and on-going assistance to users and assures compliance with system requirements. Prepares and monitors reports related to college's human resources including staffing information and human resources budget utilization; maintains confidential employee files; compiles, analyzes and makes recommendations on related topics and issues. recblid wdvb3h6dciyebb1dcr04a4ita6eklc BA/BS/Undergraduate
