Job Announcement Position: Maintenance WorkerPay Grade: $12.65 Parks/Cemeteries. Applications are now being accepted for (2) Maintenance Worker positions in the Parks/Cemeteries Department.Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of high school desirable, and one year of experience in construction and maintenance work. Possession of a valid Colorado drivers' license required.Duties: Under supervision, performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor in the construction and maintenance of streets, water and sewer lines, parks, buildings, and other municipal facilities; drives truck and operates light equipment; assists higher skilled craftsmen as a trainee; may occasionally serve as lead worker over seasonal workers. Work tends to be routine and subject to close supervision.Applicants must be able to perform and have the following essential functions and physical capabilities: Vision qualifying for a drivers' license, verbal skills to converse and understand instructions, sufficient hearing to insure safe working practices, read information, write reports and fill in forms, hand to eye coordination, good mobility for bending, walking, climbing ladders, etc., lift approximately fifty pounds, ability to hold and use hand tools for both janitorial use and grounds maintenance. recblid d6o4i5ar1xxjyarzmf2w8huifw2y3t
